ABOUT THE FOUNDER
MEET EMMA YPC FOUNDER
Hi I'm Em, the founder of Yogi Peace Club. I started Yogi Peace Club in 2014 near Bells Beach, Torquay, with a mission to create sustainable, high-quality yoga products.
Our all-women team is dedicated to designing mats and accessories to design yoga products that support people on their yoga journey.
As a yoga teacher, I personally test our products to ensure they perform beautifully at home and in the studio. Celebrating 10 years, we hope our products inspire you to roll out your mat and practice.

SUSTAINABLE WORKPLACE
WORKING TOWARDS A
At Yogi Peace Club, we ship our products using compostable packaging and print swing tags on recycled materials. Our stationery is crafted from recycled paper. We're committed to minimising waste, collaborating with suppliers to reduce excess packaging and plastics wherever possible.
Our office and warehouse are powered by solar energy, reducing our carbon footprint. Every order is meticulously handled by our team of passionate women at our Bells Beach office, who share a deep commitment to both the environment and yoga.

AUSTRALIAN ARTISTS
SUPPORTING
Crafting the art for our award-winning Yogi Peace Club yoga mats is a joyful journey that merges our love for yoga with our artistic spirit.
Each design is hand-rendered, drawing inspiration from the beauty of nature, ancient arts and the essence of yoga.
We begin with a blank canvas of traditional paper, utilise techniques such as water colour and lino print, then move to a digital tablet and let our creative energies flow and compose.

PVC free
why is pvc hazardous?
As a yogi, it's essential to know what your mat is made of. If you use a PVC mat, this information will help you make an informed choice.
Toxic Production: PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is one of the most hazardous consumer plastics, made with large amounts of chlorine. It became popular because it's cheap but poses serious environmental risks.
Health Risks: PVC emits toxic dioxins during production, harmful to both humans and nature. Greenpeace has long advocated against its use, yet many yoga mats are still 100% PVC.
Phthalates: PVC mats often contain phthalates for flexibility. These chemicals are linked to reproductive issues and premature breast development. Heat, like in hot yoga, can cause them to leach out, making inhalation a concern.

We believe in the transformative power of yoga and strive to make it accessible to everyone. To support this mission, we donate yoga mats to those in need, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to practice regardless of their financial situation.
In addition to our donations, we run yoga classes for the community, creating a welcoming space for people of all levels to come together and experience the benefits of yoga.
