It's Our 7th Birthday! Read the Yogi Peace Club Story.

Hi beautiful Yogis, its Em from Yogi Peace Club. It's YPC’s 7th Birthday on Nov 6th, so I would like share a little about the brand that I created in 2014. But first, I have to say thank you to all of our customers. I feel incredibly grateful to have so many loyal customers, without your support the brand would not exist.

Secondly, I have to say how lucky I am too have a team of incredible women, who are not only inspiring but the back bone of the brand. Many of you think my business is much bigger, but it's just the six of us. So you can imagine how hard we have to work to deliver the products to you on time.

My goal for YPC since day one has been simple, I want my products to make people happy. I have learnt so much about running a small business in the past 7 years. My love of design, yoga and the beautiful customers is what keeps me going. I look forward to sharing many new innovative designs and yogi products with you over the years to come. We have one of our best collections yet launching this month that we are so excited to share with you!

My brand is still small and local. We try our best to source products that are a better choice for the environment without sacrificing quality. I firmly believe if a product doesn't perform there is a far greater chance it will end up as land fill. We work so hard to make sure we test everything we produce to ensure it will be the right decision for the customer and the planet. And we want the product to be long lasting and value for money.

One of our proudest moments for 2021 was being named by Vogue Australia as one of the best activewear brands to buy. We were so honoured to be mentioned along side the global leaders in activewear.

Yogi Peace Club Time Line

Yogi Peace Club was born in 2014 from the love of yoga. I had just commenced my Diploma of Hatha Yoga to become a yoga teacher. At that same time I had recently returned from a family holiday and I was inspired to design a pack of incense in a more modern way, rather than the traditional heavy fragrances, so I started with a small order of hand rolled incense sticks that had tropical scents. It was the birth of Yogi Peace Club!

The next products we introduced were cotton yoga tops. These were an instant hit on social media and we sold out very quickly. The game changer for us was the introduction of yoga mats. I wanted something different and unique, I love colour and prints so it only made sense to source something that was colourful.

Fast forward to 2021, we now offer now offer an extensive range of eco yoga mats, yoga accessories and sustainable apparel. We donate quarterly to the Carbon Positive Foundation helping to contribute to rebuilding Australian forests. We are regularly featured in Australian Yoga Journal and we are lucky enough to be featured on the back cover this month!

We are so excited for the new collection ‘Elements’ launching this month. We have worked so hard to bring this collection to life and believe it is our best yet! This new collection sees the launch of some new pieces: Yogi Soul, which is new ribbed plains collection, new yoga mat prints, yoga bag and accessories, and all new prints in the yoga clothing, which of course are made from recycled post consumer plastic.

Running a small business has many challenges, it's damn hard work and it never stops. Yogi Peace Club is not a job for me it’s a passion and I love it! If you have a passion or a dream, follow your heart and take the journey, no matter how difficult the path may be. Listen to your instinct, keep things simple, be authentic and don’t give up.

Yoga has the ability to transform the body and mind, so I am taking that philosophy with the business with a sense of all empathy, kindness and sustainability to ensure our practices are in line with a yogic way of life.
