From Sketchbook to Spring - Meet Rani Print

Meet Rani - our newest print, arriving just in time for spring. Deep mulberry and earthy berry tones, hand-drawn by artist Megan Faye and block printed by our artisans in India. Available now in a relaxed Cotton Pant and flowing Kimono, both cut in our signature cotton.

THE PRINT

Rani started with a conversation between Em, founder of Yogi Peace Club, and artist Megan Faye. The idea was simple, to create a print that honoured the season. The warmth of spring awakening, the richness of mulberry and deep earthy berry tones, the feeling of nature coming back to life.




"We wanted Rani to feel like spring - warm, alive and full of colour. Megan captured exactly that, and our artisans in India brought it to life in the most beautiful way."

From that conversation, Megan went to work by hand, translating the energy of the season into line and form. From her sketchbook, the design is then hand carved into wooden blocks and brought to life by our artisans in Jaipur. Because every piece is block printed by hand, no two are exactly alike - perfectly imperfect, the slight variation is what makes each piece one of a kind.

Block printing is one of India's oldest textile traditions. Each print is applied by hand, block by block, by skilled artisans who have been working with us since the beginning. Slow, made, hand made. We hope you feel the difference.
