Eco Nation launches Yogi Peace Club at Life and Style Trade Fair

We are so excited to announce that Yogi Peace Club will be part of this years Life and Style Trade fair in collaboration with Eco Nation.

Eco nation is a collective of environmentally aware brands, which include brands such as Earth Bottles, Polli Jewelery, Sienna Nail Polish, Bask Aromatherapy

We interviewed Eco Nations founder Briody Scholes, to give you a little more insight into this incredible movement where there is a push from retailers and consumers for more sustainable local brands.

Why did you start Eco Nation?

I have always had a passion for eco brands, and have been a longtime purchaser of environmentally aware products. I saw a gap in the market for small brands at trade fairs. Because the cost is so large and more often than not small brand owners are time poor. So I decided to start a collective that makes the process of getting small business brands out there more time achievable. 

How long have you been involved in Eco Nation?

The launch has been 1 year in the process.

What is your Goal?

To collaborate a group of eco brands, and create a one stop shop for retailers that are looking for environmentally aware products. 

How do you select the brands that become apart of Eco Nation?

Brands go through a series of questions that qualify them within an eco criteria. I personally also get to meet each brand and love to know their story before taking them on board. But all brands have an environmental impact with a social give back.

Why have you chosen to go to Life and Style?

Life and Style for me, is the top Australian trade fair for high-end products. I have been to other fairs and nothing compares to the quality of Life and Style.
