The Story Behind Shanti & Marrakesh
Drawn From The Colours of Ancient Lands

There are places in the world where craft has never been hurried. Where hands move with a patience that can't be taught in a factory. It is from these ancient places, sun-warmed, deeply human, that our newest cotton collection draws its soul.

Meet Shanti and Marrakesh.
Long before fast fashion existed, artisans across India were pressing hand-carved wooden blocks into fabric, one deliberate stamp at a time. Each block is carved with motifs drawn from nature, architecture and the geometric patterns found in ancient desert carvings and textiles. Our artisan partners carry this craft forward with extraordinary care. No two pieces are ever exactly alike. That's not a flaw. That's the point.

Shanti - the Sanskrit word for peace - is an earthy, grounded and richly beautiful floral. Marrakesh speaks to the wanderer, rich with the warmth of North African medinas, sun-bleached walls and intricate tilework. Both are drawn from the colours of ancient lands.

This collection arrives as a Kimono, Pant and Scarf across both prints, pieces designed to move with you on and off the mat, softening with every wear in the way that only natural cotton can. We wrote about the craft behind these pieces, worth a quiet read if you haven't already here.

When you wear something from this collection, you're wearing centuries of tradition, made by human hands, for a very modern ritual. We hope that you enjoy this collection, as much as we do.
With love,
