If you are looking for the perfect getaway that includes yoga, some surf and healthy organic food - Byron Bay has it all. Here are some of my top tips from a recent four day trip.
As you drive into Byron I love to stop at THE FARM. The THREE BLUE DUCKS the restaurant at the Farm is the perfect spot for lunch, where you can sit down for a salad and Home Brewed Ginger Kombucha Tea. The bakery THE BREAD SOCIAL has the most beautiful sour doughs and wonderful coffee too. If you have time cruise around in the sunshine and check the Hairy cows.
I love the grab and go fridge where you can get a fresh organic Smoothie filled with the most fabulous organic ingredients. They offer a selection of raw and cooked organic vegan meals.
Pop in next door to AHOY TRADER where you can see the most gorgeous homewares and artwork by the super talented JAI VASICEK.
This is the post surf hang. Love going up to Top Shop after a surf at the Pass for an Acai bowl. My fav is the Tropical Acai filled with Pineapple, Mango and Passionfruit. The coffee is great there too.
SURF THE PASS
Love surfing the Pass and Wategos when staying in Byron. Such fun waves and the most gorgeous beach to sit and people watch. So many beautiful people and such a fabulous relaxed vibe. Perfect place for some beach Yoga too.
The new Yoga studio by Tahl and Bess is in the Arts and Industrial Estate and is the talk of the town. Both girls have so much experience as yoga teachers and have incredible followings in the yoga scene in Byron Bay.
This is a must. Situated just outside of Mullumbimby, Crystal Castle offers an incredible experience fro all ages. The gardens are spectacular and an inspiration, they will ignite your senses. Indulge in a beautiful lunch in the cafe that overlooks the beautiful crystal garden. It is open daily from 10 am until 5 pm and there are daily activities everyday. Walking through the towering bamboo garden was a highlight for me.
