ABOUT THE FOUNDER
MEET EMMA YPC FOUNDER
My name is Em, I'm the founder of Yogi Peace Club. I created Yogi Peace Club with one intention, to design yoga products that support people on their yoga journey.
I started Yogi Peace Club in 2014 on the Surfcoast near Bells Beach Torquay Victoria, Australia. Our team, comprised entirely of women, is dedicated to designing yoga products that are sustainable, reliable for every yoga session and crafted to last. We are so proud to be celebrating 10 years of Yogi Peace Club.
As a yoga teacher myself, I'm deeply involved in the process. I enjoy sharing, practicing, and testing our products with other yoga teachers and students. This hands-on approach ensures that all of our products are environmentally sustainable and perform well both at home or in the studio.
My hope is that our products will ignite the yogi spirit within you, encouraging you to roll out and get onto your mat with inspiration and confidence.
SUSTAINABLE WORKPLACE
WORKING TOWARDS A

Our office and warehouse are powered by solar energy, reducing our carbon footprint. Every order is meticulously handled by our team of passionate women at our Bells Beach office, who share a deep commitment to both the environment and yoga.

AUSTRALIAN ARTISTS
SUPPORTING
Crafting the art for our award-winning Yogi Peace Club yoga mats is a joyful journey that merges our love for yoga with our artistic spirit.
Each design is hand-rendered, drawing inspiration from the beauty of nature, ancient arts and the essence of yoga.
We begin with a blank canvas of traditional paper, utilise techniques such as water colour and lino print, then move to a digital tablet and let our creative energies flow and compose.
PVC free
why is pvc hazardous?
As a yogi, it's crucial to know what your yoga mat is made of and what you are practicing on. If you have a plastic PVC mat, this information will help you stay informed and empower your decision-making.
TOXIC PRODUCTION: PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is one of the most environmentally hazardous consumer materials. It involves large quantities of chlorine, comprising roughly 30% of the world’s supply. PVC became the plastic of choice because it is cheap.
- HEALTH RISKS: PVC emits dioxins during its manufacture, which are toxic to both humans and the environment. It is considered the most harmful plastic by several health organisations. Greenpeace has been lobbying to stop the use of PVC because of the dioxin produced during its manufacture. Unfortunately many yoga mats are 100% PVC.
- PHTHALATES: Yoga mats made from PVC often contain phthalates to increase flexibility. These chemicals are linked to reproductive issues, shorter pregnancy durations, and premature breast development in girls. Phthalates can leach out, especially in hot yoga environments, leading to inhalation of toxic particles.

OUR YOGA COMMUNITY
creating connection
Yogi Peace Club is committed to bringing wellness and connection to our community.
We believe in the transformative power of yoga and strive to make it accessible to everyone. To support this mission, we donate yoga mats to those in need, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to practice regardless of their financial situation.
In addition to our donations, we run yoga classes for the community, creating a welcoming space for people of all levels to come together and experience the benefits of yoga.
To stay connected and share resources, we have an active Facebook group where members can ask questions, share their experiences, and find support. Through these efforts, we aim to build a strong, inclusive community that promotes health, mindfulness, and mutual support.
